You don't need to use us at all
You don't need to use a solicitor or claims management company to pursue a motor finance complaint. You can contact your lender directly free of charge. We're simply one option if you'd rather have someone manage the process on your behalf.
How motor finance claims are funded with us
Where we offer a no win, no fee arrangement, you pay nothing if your claim is unsuccessful.
If your claim succeeds without court proceedings, our fee is a percentage of the redress you receive. The SRA caps that fee on a sliding scale, set by the size of your redress. Each band also carries a cash cap, and you pay whichever of the two is lower:
| Redress you receive | Maximum fee | Cash cap |
|---|---|---|
| Up to £1,499 | 30% plus VAT | £420 |
| £1,500 to £9,999 | 28% plus VAT | £2,500 |
| £10,000 to £24,999 | 25% plus VAT | £5,000 |
| £25,000 to £49,999 | 20% plus VAT | £7,500 |
| £50,000 and above | 15% plus VAT | £10,000 |
If we issue proceedings then the fee will be 40% plus VAT.
These caps come from the SRA Claims Management Fees Rules 2024, in force since 26 July 2024. A cancellation fee may apply if you withdraw outside the 14 day cooling off period. Full details will be provided before you sign anything.
